As many of you know that on Sunday, May 22, 2011 we were blessed to have a new member of the family join us. We were at church and Deborah's water broke. Instead of going to the hospital she told me she had to run home and change??? Well after a quick phone call from the doctor we were off to the hospital!

To say Melissa was a little excited would be an understatement!

Melissa didn't want to let Zachary go!

He was born weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz, and coming in at 18 inches long. They had to insert a feeding tube on Wednesday because the little guy wasn't eating, but almost as soon as they put that tube in he starting eating! I think they only used the tube twice after that.

I have to be honest I have the two cutest kids on the planet! Alright so I am a little biased

Easter Egg Hunt

to do the egg hunt that Deborah found in a book.

Here on Sunday before Easter we died some eggs. Melissa, Uncle Nick and Aunt Karen

After we got the Baby's Room done Melissa wanted some in her room.
We went out and found Tinkerbell and she has begged us for
it so we got it for her.

Once we got all of the Tinkerbell's up we realized that her room is
all Tinkerbell. The paint on the wall is Tinkerbell green and her
curtains are also Tinkerbell.

Melissa was trying to hide but we got her in one to show that
she did help us.

We got stickers for the wall that you could put on the walls. Melissa
was excited that we go them and she helped us put them on
the walls through out the room. She was a good helper.

We got to find out what we are having. In the last picture it shows
that we are having a boy. We are so excited now we can get
ready for him. It didn't take very long right when the
lady put the ultra sound on we found out right away.

Melissa's Christmas program

Melissa school did a Christmas program and it was very cute. Here is
Mark and Melissa after the program. She got to be an Elf.

Here is Melissa with Deborah. Deborah had such a hard time of not
closing her eyes so she had them wide open.

Sledding

We went sledding after shopping for a new tube. Here is Melissa
and Conner. After going down Melissa just sat there while Conner
pulled her back up to the top of the hill. What a smart girl!

It was very cold going down the hill. Deborah didn't go down the hill which was
probably a good idea. After we were done sledding we went to Deborah's parents house

After Thanksgiving day Mel and I waited for Mark (Daddy) to come home after work
once he got home we started to put the tree up and get ready for Christmas.
Mel was very excited that she got to put some of the ornaments up.

Trip to Seaworld

Here we are when we entered into Sea World. Yes we did pick up two other girls but they came with us also the parents. We let their parents have a date with no kids. In the picture is Mark, Me (Deborah), Melissa, Katelynn and Sydney.

done Sydney was sound asleep.

I haven't updated our blog for a while so I will tell you what has happened. We went to the county fair and the state fair to see how my critter had done. It looked really good. Mel had her birthday on August 21 so she is now four years old. Mel is going to school where Deborah works at. Mark turned 30 and I threw him a surprise party. We had friends over and it was fun. We did 2 yard sales we did good on the first one and not so good on the second one. Mel sold some cookies, fruit punch and lemonade all the people just loved her and she did really good also.

Melissa's Fort

Melissa wanted to build a fort so we gathered some blankets and started to build her a fort we used chairs, counters, tables and blankets.

She wanted Mark to take a picture of her in the fort that we built.

We tried to get all of us in the picture but as you can tell I'm cut off a little bit and Melissa is being squished. She was having fun with us when we were playing together. We were also watching the Jazz play on the T.V.

Melissa's Swimming Lesson

Melissa did some swimming lessons at Kearns Pool. She was ready to go swimming but not to learn how to swim, but she did. Her teacher was nice and loved her. Melissa's teacher would hold her up because she was so small in her class. In the 2 pictures she is working on floating on her back. She has passed the first level she almost passed the second level. We have some things that we need to work on. No we can't help her on the growing she has to do that on her own.

Afternoon at the zoo

Deborah's work did a day at the zoo in the afternoon.
We had Grandma (Nancy) Wiker bring Melissa up and
you can tell she is having fun. Mel walked
up the hill and she was having fun.

We have been really busy now I think that we should get things updated of what we have done so far this month. On mother's day I got a picture frame of some pictures of us, Mark and Mel and just Mel. Thanks to Diane for doing the pictures. Then we went up to Mark's parents house spend some time up there. We then went to my parents house and visit with her.

We went to Deb's parents house in the morning. We did breakfast there after we ate Mel was so excited that the bunny came to their house so she could look for the Eggs. The Easter bunny put some eggs up high so Grandpa (Rodger) lifted her up so she could get them. She did not want to wear regular clothes so we changed her in the dress. She does look really good in it.

Christmas at home

When she was fully awake she saw that Santa came and at her cookies and also drank the milk. She said "Santa ate only one and a half of the cookies." I guess we need to eat all of them next time. We woke up about 6:30am to open presents, so we were still tired when we opened some of our presents.

She loved this present because it was a some things with Snow White.

She loved this as you can tell she was excited for the toy.

Christmas Eve

I know we are late getting Christmas pictures up. If you saw how busy we were then you would understand. Mel made some cookies with some friends and they turned out really cute. On Christmas Eve Mel wanted to have cookies and milk for Santa Claus. As you can tell they looked so yummy.

Mark ate the cookies and wrote the note to Mel.

When Mel woke up she couldn't believe that Santa came and at the cookies and drank all the milk all gone. She loved it and she told us that she wants to do that again next year. Mark is such a good guy to pretend to be Santa.

Ouch on December 23

I was out with a friend and we had three kids with us. We went out to do some last minute shopping for Christmas. We were shopping at Walmart we had two carts. Mel decided that she would lean out of the shopping cart. Well she leaned to far out and went out of the cart and she hit her head on the floor. We Do Not hit her she does things on her own.

Visiting Temple Square

We went down to see the Christmas lights and see the Christus Statue. Mel enjoyed see Jesus but in the picture she was tired.

Here she is with the Grandma and Papa Locher. This is a good one Mel was happy to be with them.

We had someone take a picture of all of us and Mel was not willing to look at the camera but she did have fun. Then we went outside to see the Nativity Scene. Mel was looking for a big Jesus not a baby Jesus. We ended up telling her that Jesus started out as a baby then he got big. After that she understood that everyone is a baby at first then they get big.

We had to take a picture of Karen and Nick when we were in Oatman Arizona. They do look good together.

Deborah had her sister-in-law take her graduation pictures. Deborah graduated in May 8, 2009. Deborah worked very hard so we were excited that she finally got her degree.

Doesn't she look good in these two pictures. She had her cousin do the hair and a friend did her make-up man it was a long time that we saw her in make-up.

After we left San Diego we went on to Kingman, Arizona to visit Deborah's grandparents. There we found a kite and Melissa got her first taste of kite flying!
